CSC148 Week of Jan 20

Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) is the style of programming which creates objects which have attributes and functions known as methods which belong to them. These object(s) interact with each other to form some sort of program. This style of programming is a highly important portion of our modern programming. Programming languages such as C++, Java, PHP, Python and many others use OOP. Many of our daily activities also use OOP. There really isn't much in the way of non-OOP languages in terms of front-end programming. Of course languages which focus on other things need different solutions to their problems, such as assemblers, but OOP is the style which is primarily used in many languages.
